ABOUT The Current Arts Foundation
The Current Arts Foundation (TCAF) and The Current Selection move as two currents in confluence. TCAF, our 501(c)(3), carries the public mission—supporting current artists through programming, visibility, and cultural access. The Current Selection, our for-profit publishing and marketplace arm, produces books, editions, and select art offerings that create genuine earning pathways for artists.
Together, they form an intentional structure, formed so that artists may thrive culturally, economically, and within the flow of a contemporary creative corporation.
CAF is committed to creating an equitable and scalable business framework where artists can thrive without reliance on traditional gatekeepers. By fostering industry-wide collaboration between artists, collectors, institutions, and brands, we ensure long-term value creation for all stakeholders.
CAF is inspired by the radical vision of Alfred Stieglitz and his 291 Gallery, who transformed American art by championing avant-garde artists and fostering intellectual discourse.
We believe artists deserve the full value of their original work. Commissions range between 0-30%. Our role is to support, elevate, and create opportunities.
