ABOUT The Current Arts Foundation
CurrentArts is a cultural platform that supports contemporary artists through publishing, professional development, and public programs. We strengthen the contemporary arts ecosystem and expand access to current artists.
CurrentArts aligns cultural programming, publishing, and community engagement, CurrentArts helps artists build presence, reach new audiences, and participate in a shared cultural current. CurrentArts is committed to creating an equitable and scalable business framework where artists thrive. By fostering industry-wide collaboration between artists, collectors, institutions, and brands, we ensure long-term value creation for all stakeholders.
CurrentArts is inspired by the radical vision of Alfred Stieglitz and his 291 Gallery, who transformed American art by championing avant-garde artists and fostering intellectual discourse.

Educational and public-facing activities may be conducted through its 501(c)(3) entity; professional, industry-focused initiatives may be conducted through its 501(c)(6) entity; and commercial publishing, production, and sales activities are conducted through its for-profit entity.
